Registration Procedures for Trademarks and Industrial Designs in Turkmenistan: A Unified Legal Analysis
This article provides an integrated analysis of the registration procedures applicable to both trademarks and industrial designs in Turkmenistan. Although each form of intellectual property is governed by a separate statute, the procedural structure administered by Turkmenpatent is unified: both registrations follow the same sequence of filing, formal examination, substantive examination, responses to office actions, decision-making, fee payment, registration, and publication.
